I am a man, diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1997. My symptoms are severe and the pain never stops. There is a lot of information about women with fibro but very little dealing with the problems men face with this disease. Where can we find more information about how this affects men and how we can find relief?

There are still a lot of health care professionals that still don’t believe that men get fibro too. I have had several problems with doctors and nurses telling me that I don’t have fibro because men don’t get it. So what are to do??

    • They work for you so tell them to do their job and find out what you can do to ease your pain! I have it so bad and I can’t get anyone to help ease my pain either so I know exactly how ya feel!! They don’t know the pain so no one understands how bad we do feel! I can’t sleep and now it’s so much worse! Been years and spent time on Lyrica and pain meds from a great doctor who retired so now the new ones don’t know me like he did! This is all sad to me! I can’t take it anymore!!
