Fibromyalgia Symptoms and Treatments

In this video from IntermountainMoms, Nurse Dani from Intermountain Healthcare discusses the signs and symptoms of fibromyalgia. She shares some of the most common symptoms people with fibromyalgia tend to suffer from, such as chronic muscle pain, flu-like symptoms, fatigue, tender points, depression, anxiety and brain fog.

Read about the things that blindsided our columnist Robin Dix, when she became ill with fibromyalgia.

Dani also talks about some of the treatments available for the condition including medications, relaxation therapies, treatment for depression, physical therapy, light exercise, and counseling. She explains that diagnosis of fibromyalgia is usually done via a process of elimination, ruling out other conditions first.
