Village Naturals Therapy (VNT) became part of the “proud sponsor program” of the National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA) and the Community Pain Center (CPC).
In addition, VNT recently launched the Village Warriors, a Facebook support community for patients with chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis to share their concerns and tips on pain management.
The goal of the Village Warriors is to start discussions among patients, provide reference materials, and to motivate them through inspirational quotes, product giveaways, and access to success stories.
The NFA’s Proud Sponsor Program recognizes products that are deemed safe, effective, and beneficial for patients with fibromyalgia and chronic pain. The group’s sponsorship facilitates pain research, education, and the launch of new health programs for these patients.

The National Fibromyalgia Association’s patient focus groups and medical advisers decided to include Village Naturals Therapy as a Proud Sponsor after a detailed scrutiny of its products’ quality standards.
“We receive so many heartwarming stories and positive product comments from the chronic pain community,” Hanson said. “We are excited to be able to reach an even larger audience that may benefit from our products as well as help contribute to the organizations’ important efforts in both research and patient program development.”
Fibromyalgia is a chronic widespread pain condition that affects the muscles, tissues, and ligaments. It has no known cure. According to the CDC, it affects about 2 percent of the U.S. adult population (four million adults).
Founded in 1997, the NFA is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance and resources for fibromyalgia patients in addition to educating and spreading awareness about the condition.
The CPC, founded by Community Health Focus, is an interactive support group for the wellness, service, and motivation of patients suffering from chronic pain.
The CPC and NFA acknowledged VNT’s contribution toward helping the chronic pain community. “Everyone at the NFA is extremely thankful for VNT’s generous support and concern towards people in pain,” said Lynne Matallana, founder of NFA and president and CEO of Community Health Focus.
